Frank Sinatra, “Mean To Me.” In the late 40’s — after his initial stardom with the Dorsey band and his early solo period, and before his revival in the ’50s with Capitol — Sinatra was considered a has-been, but he did some of my favorite recordings then, like this Billie Holiday-influenced song.
