Pretty awful. Twitter blew up over it, it didn’t go unnoticed. (Someone said the State Dept. is going to need to call a meeting to explain away Perry to the Turks.) But Perry is on his way out, and not going to be running against Obama, and has already amply shown he barely has two brain cells to rub together, so I tend to shrug off what he says now.
