There is rich poetic justice in global warming causing the tarmac to melt at Reagan National Airport.
(Not quite as rich as Sen. Jim Inhofe getting a respiratory illness last year from swimming in a lake where climate change had caused a massive toxic algae bloom, but close.)
Tarmac melts, causing flight cancellations at USA’s capital airport, Reagan National, Washington DC. This demonstrates the need for climate adaptation of America’s (rather embarrassing) infrastructure.
